The March Back from Death

by mikekarnj on October 2, 2007

I’ll be in Richmond, Virginia over the next couple of days to hear VCU Adcenter presentations on re-branding New Orleans. While in town, I’ll be participating in Friday’s Culture Crash with my boss Robbie Vitrano. The presentation is titled “The March Back from Death” and we’ll talk about how difficult it is to re-position a city after a natural disaster and how branding NOLA is bigger than advertising. If you’re in Richmond, I highly encourage you to attend. If not, I’ll be out and about so if you want to grab coffee or a drink, shoot me an email at mikekarnj@gmail.com or call my cell if you have the number. Cheers mate!

    Michael,
Thank you so much for coming. I really enjoyed your insight along with Robbie Vitrano. Your trip-binge after completing school sounded really intriguing. Kind of like Adcenter, if you don’t do it now, you may never have the chance. I’m so glad that I’m here. But damn those student loans!

Thanks J.D. It was a pleasure and a great time in Richmond. It’s really a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel. And my advice is to stay away from Western Europe. There’s so many other places to check out in this world!
